Merry Christmas Boss... now where's my bonus?!

He knows how much money I make but I still believe my boss expects a nice Christmas gift. Last year, I blew it. I waited until the last minute, ran to the Starbucks and purchased a gift card that I placed inside a Starbucks Gift Mug. Unfortunately, I saw his face. It reminded me that I was the one who liked Starbucks while he at once referred to it as "too many decisions before breakfast" coffee. He was the McDonalds drive-thru guy...McDonalds was his kind of place... perhaps he just liked how the Mickey D cups reminded him that coffee was actually hot. Whatever the reason, my gift was as flat as the whipped cream on my day-out Caffe' Mocha.

So my New Year's Resolution was to assure that I gave my boss a great gift for Christmas... and here it is countdown time and I am just beginning to look. Here are my ideas so far but I would love some help! Can you assist in giving me a few hints for that boss who has everything... especially my bonus amount in his hands! I want it to be funny, not too expensive but shows I went to a little trouble. Here's what I have so far...

1) A travel size mouse for his computer. I know it sounds silly but he mentioned recently that he gets tired of using the pad on his laptop. I picked one up for a few dollars and it is going in the boss basket I am making for my Bosses Christmas Gift.

2) A Jar of Hard Candies and A Jar of Hersheys Kisses. My boss likes to laugh at how the people with chocolate get more visitors in their office while the peppermint jar holders have few takers. He recently mentioned that it would be a great idea to have a jar of each and place the appropriate one in the office when he wanted the person to stop or just keep heading down the hall. It will give him a great laugh and he will appreciate that I actually listened to him... that day... ahhh... minute.
